Workplace Integration Management

Unable to work due to illness

Employees who have been continuously or intermittently unable to work due to illness for more than six weeks during one year can take advantage of our workplace integration management program (BEM). The six-week time period is always based on the previous twelve months, not the calendar year, and is independent of a specific illness or its causes.

Support and assistance

The BEM provides support and assistance to minimize job-related health risks, regain the ability to work, and prevent a recurrence of the illness.

Participation is voluntary.
