Busworld “Innovation Label” 2019 At the 25th Busworld in Brussels, MEKRA Lang once again positioned itself as an innovation driver for greater road safety. This time, the Innovation Label was presented in Brussels in recognition of the benefits of MEKRA Lang's digital mirror replacement system for coaches and city buses. The “Innovation Label” is awarded to innovative products and services in the bus segment in Europe.

Daimler Supplier Award 2018 – Category “Innovation” Daimler AG via MEKRA Lang: “This innovation makes our new Actros the first Mercedes-Benz series production in the world to feature digital rear-view mirrors. Elegant, efficient and safe: You have taken this technology to the next level.”

CLAAS presents MEKRA Lang with “Supplier of the Year 2018” Award CLAAS has awarded MEKRA Lang with the “Supplier of the Year” in the category Service thus honoring its many years of service quality and close technical cooperation.

CES Innovation Award The CES Innovation Award is presented annually to manufacturers and developers of new consumer technologies and outstanding designs. The Digital VisionSystem from MEKRA Lang was awarded the CES 2019 Innovation Award in the category “Vehicle Intelligence and Self-Driving Technology”.

Familienpakt Bayern This pact entered into by the Bavarian State Government, the Bavarian Economic Association (VBW), the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Trade (BIHK) and the Bavarian Crafts Association (BHT) promotes the continuous improvement of work-life balance in Bavaria. MEKRA Lang joined the pact in 2017.

iF DESIGN AWARD This coveted annual design award honoring design creations of superior quality and originality is conferred by iF International Forum Design GmbH. In 2017, MEKRA Lang won in the “Product” and “Industry” categories as a member of the Concept Cab Cluster.

Bavaria's Top 50 The Bavarian State Department of Economics and Media, Energy and Technology gives out this annual award to the 50 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bavaria with the highest sustainable growth rates. In 2016 MEKRA Lang became a member of this distinguished group.

Germany's Top Innovators On behalf of the WirtschaftsWoche publication, the consulting firm Munich Strategy Group (MSG) publishes a ranking of the 15 most successful and creative German SMEs. In 2016 MEKRA Lang ranked 12th among the 3,500 SMEs selected for review.

Top 100 German Growth and Revenue Stars In cooperation with the German daily newspaper “Die Welt”, the Munich Strategy Group (MSG) arranges a national cross-industry competition to determine the most successful SMEs in Germany. 2016 marked yet another year in which MEKRA Lang received theTOP 100 quality sealawarded exclusively to market leaders whose results demonstrate sustained competitive excellence.

bauma Innovation Award In 2016 MEKRA Lang was honored with this award given jointly by the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), bauma, and the leading associations of the German construction industry. It is conferred on selected corporate and academic research and development teams, who develop top technologies of high practical value for the construction equipment, building material and mining industries.

UMWELTPAKT BAYERN (Bavarian Environmental Pact) This pact honors Bavarian companies going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a high degree of environmental protection and sustainability in their operations. MEKRA Lang became a member of the Umweltpakt Bayern in 2016.

Entrepreneur of the Year This award is given out by Ernst & Young to honor companies for their outstanding entrepreneurial performance in terms of growth, future potential, innovative strength, HR management and corporate responsibility. MEKRA Lang has been one of these companies since 2010.

MEHRWERT Familie (Family Support Award) In cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the Bertelsmann Foundation gives out this award to honor particularly family-friendly companies in the Nürnberg metropolitan area. In 2010, MEKRA Lang placed first in the category of Employers with up to 1,500 employees.

Bavarian Award for Promoting Women The Bavarian State Government confers this award on companies and institutions for their exceptional commitment to ensuring job equality between women and men and to promoting a better work-life balance for their employees. MEKRA Lang received this award in 2008 as a best-practice company.

Jobstar In cooperation with RTL Franken Life TV, the regional marketing association “Die Region Nürnberg e.V.” gives out this monthly award to honor a regional company for its outstanding commitment to job creation in the region. In 2004, MEKRA Lang was awarded the 84th Jobstar.
