On October 18th, 20168 the VDI nachrichten Recruiting Day was held at the Meistersingerhalle in Nürnberg where MEKRA Lang presented itself as an attractive employer to interested engineers and gave an overview of job and career opportunities at the company. The expo which was organized by the German Association of Engineers (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure, VDI) was also designed to serve as a forum for experts to exchange ideas and share insights. Visitors at our booth received information on our latest development in the area of mirror replacement, the Vision 4.0. One of the highlights at the MEKRA booth was the demonstration of our virtual reality goggles. The VR goggles proved to be such a magnet for visitors that at times people had to wait in line before they could immerse themselves in the exciting world of virtual reality and experience the benefits of future vision systems in a virtual driver's cab through HTC VIVE. The visitors were able to get a real feel for the potential applications of our new concept and for its strengths. The expo drew a large number of visitors and provide MEKRA Lang with an excellent opportunity to present itself as an innovative and respected expert in the development of field-of-vision products.
